The Parliament will get support in implementing Association Agreement with the EU and the reforms agenda.

The Swedish Government funds a technical assistance project in this respect to be implemented the coming two years together with the UNDP in Moldova.

The program aims at enhancing the level of transparency of the Parliament, harmonizing the Moldovan legislation with the European laws and encouraging gender equality.

The project amount is $4.3 million, as all the parties have already inked it.

Parliament president Andrian Candu has thanked the development partners for the support in the parliamentary development and has stressed the project is a premiere for Moldova.
