The warning against swimming in Chisinau lakes comes from the Chisinau Public Health Center.

After taking 28 samples from the water of several ponds, the specialists found pathogenic bacteria in the lakes of Vatra, from the park of Valea Morilor and Valea Trandafirilor, as well as from the Nistru River (Dniester river) of Vadul lui Vodă city.

The specialist also warn us against entering the water in case we choose to go to the beach, as the yellow warning of hot weather is still valid. Temperatures of up to 35 degrees Celsius will be maintained until August 22.
