Tax benefit for foreigners investing IT firms in Moldova
Foreign investors who want to open start-up or firms in IT business in Moldova will gain benefit of 7% sale tax in IT parks.
Moldova is in process of implementing IT parks which attracts all domestic and international businessmen.
Present at the Government for ICT Forum, Premier Pavel Filip assured the IT domain to increase the welfare of citizens as well as considerable potential for national economic growth.
"The fact that we have moved from the industry era into the information and technology, I'm positive about Moldova growth through the approval of this IT park's creation", Pavel Filip said.
Economy and Infrastructure Minister Octavian Calmac was impressed by the growth of IT in Moldova and said the ministry was willing to receive all proposals, applications sent from companies of this domain.
The Minister of Economy, furthermore, discussed adjusting the education system to meet the IT sector and on collaborating universities to gain increasing future specialists.
At the same time, the Association of IT Companies in Moldova announced the launch of an IT park for private companies.
The "Government for ICT" Forum was organized by the Ministry of Economy in partnership with the National Association of ICT Companies and participated by representatives of the Government, development partners, as well as over hundred businessmen.
