A section of a kilometer of the road linking Chisinau to the village of Budesti goes into repair today. The project, worth three million lei, will be made out of the municipality's money.  The workers promise that in no more than two weeks the road will be ready.

The workers of Exdrupo will put a layer of gravel and two asphalt concrete. The guarantee of the works is at least seven years. 

"It is very bad, that is why we talked about, we will put a layer of gravel as the resistance of the road to strengthen it. Involved workers will be as needed, 10, 15, we will see." Until today, there is no need to involve more", said Sergiu Burlea, site manager.

Today, workers have started milling the asphalt. 

"-Do you succeed all this now?"

"We hope we will succeed, with God's help we can do it". A milling cutter comes in two maybe faster.

The deadline for the works is two weeks, but the officials say the road could be ready soon. During the works, road traffic is redirected.

"Capital repairs have not been going since it was laid down, I think through the 85s. But maintenance, winding up of the damage situation and so", said Sergiu Tomita, chief production of the Municipal Enterprise "Exdrupo".

The inhabitants of Budesti village have been waiting for years for the road leading to Chisinau to be rehabilitated. 

"I can not go by this car. I've broken the it already two times. It's very, very bad but I understand that for two weeks it's gonna be the road ready and it's good".

"It's all deteriorated. It's good to repair everything from Ciocana to here, because it's a lot of transport".

"All the life is bad this way since I remember it. It's good to do it".

This year, for the repair and maintenance of roads, the Municipal Council allocated 100 million lei. From this money will be rehabilitated 11 streets from the Capital and four roads connecting Chisinau and the suburbs.
