Prime Minister Ion Chicu spoke with the US official about the measures to prevent the coronavirus from spreading. 

"We make every effort to deal with the situation. We holds daily Extraordinary Commission for Public Health and we coordinate all decisions and actions with the World Health Organization”, the premier discussed. 

US Ambassador Dereck J. Hogan announced the readiness of the US Government to provide Moldova with financial and technical assistance if necessary.

During the meeting, the two officials addressed a range of other topics, such as the steps taken in the justice reform segment, developments in the investigation of bank fraud, preparation for the Hâncești and presidential elections as well as the strengthening and intensifying the economic collaboration between the two nations.
