Border guards have identified cross-border traffic of three people who submitted passports with obvious signs of forgery.

The fakes were detected at Tudora and Briceni crossing points.

A woman said that she has got her passport from a countryman, not knowing about the false identity. The passport was sent for examination.

For use of false documents, the person risks a fine punishment up to 300 conventional units, community service for 150 to 200 hours or imprisonment for up to 2 years.
