Three officers of the Economic Fraud Investigation Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been detained on charges of corruption.

According to the investigation, the policemen claimed and received 500 euros per month for protection from people who were selling precious metals and stones.

After receiving the money, the policemen were obliged to not undertake criminal cases of the entrepreneur activity.

A criminal case for corruption has been opened and suspects have been detained for 72 hours.
