A ticket collector working on the trolleybus no.10 is suspected of having the new type of coronavirus. Dorin Ciornîi, the director of „Regia Transport Electric Chișinău” told Publika TV that the man came into contact with his brother who had recently returned from Italy where he contracted the dangerous virus.

The man showed the first symptoms and has not come to work since then. 70% of the employees of the Trolleybus Park no. 1 went into quarantine. 

Ciornîi also said the decision to offer free public transports in Chisinau and to permit ticket collectors to stay home has nothing to do with this case.
