Former Tiraspol leader Evghenii Shevchuk claims that an attempt has been made against him and his family. The Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes opened a criminal case for attempted kidnapping and murder.
In the middle of July, Evgeniy Shevchuk lodged a complaint in this regard and was verified later. The case was investigated by MIA and SIS employees.
At this moment, suspects have not been identified, but several versions are being analyzed. Shevciuk also said that it was long cast by the Sheriff Company's security service.
Previously, the so-called Transnistrian supreme Soviet deprived Shevciuk of immunity, after the local prosecution accused him of corruption.
