The Moldovan universities are in full swing accepting high school diplomas. The most popular faculties are as follows:  

Stomatology – 28 applications per position

Law – 20 applications per position

Pharmacy – 14 applications per position

Foreign languages – 10 applications per position

Journalism - 9 applications per position

Accountancy - 9 applications per position

Business and administration - 7 applications per position

IT - 7 applications per position

Finances and banks - 6 applications per position

Up to now, the Moldovan universities have accepted 10,445 license students, and 4,945 master students. All in all, they are to take in 17,416 students, as state scholarships are tendered to 5,930 students. 11,486 positions are to be paid for by the students.

The private universities offer 2,707 places.
