Tougher drunk-driving measures supported by Government

The government has set tougher measures for drivers caught drunk driving. A project on this effect was issued by the Ministry of Justice today, February 15th, at the Government's meeting.
Thus, the limit of the minimum degree of concentration of alcohol in the blood will be from 0.3g/l to 0.5g/l.
At the same time, the minimum degree of concentration of alcohol in the breath will be from 0.15 mg/l to 0.3 mg/l.
The concentration of alcohol in the blood will be of 0.5 g and 0.3 mg in the exhaled air will be considered as an advanced level of alcohol concentration.
Driving while intoxicated is punishable by a fine between 3,000 and 20,000 lei to the disqualification from driving for a period of up to five years.
