On 9 February 2018, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi has met with Chinese Ambassador to Moldova, Zhang Yinghong, at his request.

During talks, the officials their satisfaction toward the good existing cooperation between Republic of Moldova and People's Republic of China, inclusively in international organizations.

Speaking of the investments China has made in Republic of Moldova's economy, the parties expressed their willingness to intensify their efforts in this important domain.
