Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi will visit on May 8-10 United Arab Emirates, where the Embassy of Republic of Moldova will be opened.

Minister Ulianovschi's work agenda, along the embassy's opening ceremony, that will take place on May 10, 19:30, in Adu Dhabi, also includes bilateral meetings with members of the UAE Government, high-ranking officials, participation at the Moldova- Emirate economic forum, as well as attending the reunion of Moldovans living in United Arab Emirates.

The officials will speak on perspectives of extending the bilateral political dialogue, intensify trade, cultural, justice relations etc.

Republic of Moldova and United Arab Emirates established diplomatic relations on December 21, 1995, to this moment being signed 7 bilateral treaties. According to data of National Bureau of Statistics, in 2017 the export to UAE reached 2.47 mln USD, compared to the 778.22 thousand USD from 2016, while import reached 1.89 mln USD, compared to the 1.08 mln USD from 2016.
