Two men rescued in time after swimming across Ghidighici lake

Two men were rescued from drowning by firefighters after they wanted to cross Ghidighici lake. They decided to swim regardless of warnings against freezing weather by rescuers.
Employees of rescue station noticed the men and immediately started saving them.
They were transported to Emergency Medical Institute for further medical care.

Swimming is suggested in water with temperature of 26-27 degrees which exist only in the summer.
During this period, the water temperature fluctuates between 5-6 degrees Celsius. Swimming for untrained persons might be fatal.
