A Moldovan and a Romanian attempted to illegally introduce more than 80,000 cigarettes into Romania. The was found by border polices at the Albita Border checkpoint, resulting from the thorough control of their minibuses. 

The 80,400 cigarettes with Moldovan stamp were hidden in special places in the ceiling, the floor and the walls of the vehicles they were driving.

Tobacco products worth 18,090 Romanian lei (the equivalent of 83,756 Moldovan lei), and the cars were confiscated.

The two men received a fine worth 20,000 Romanian lei (the equivalent of 92,600 Moldovan lei).
