Two Moldovan women are accused of illegally transporting several pieces of intimate lingerie for women.

This was after the minibus driver, together with a passenger, tried to cross Vama Palanca with a load hidden from the eyes of the border guards: in the doors of the car, under the chairs and in the side compartments there was hidden lingerie amounting to 50,000 lei.

Women could not demonstrate the provenance of 1038 clothes found by inspectors.

The 36-year-old driver said the goods would reach the black market in Moldova.

The case is about to be investigated.
