Two moldovans strated their London trip with luggage crammed with cigarettes. Two men of 31-year-old and 36-year-old have been caught with 700 packs of cigarettes with Moldova's excise stamp right at the Chisinau International Airport checkpoint.

As a result of X-ray scanning, the device showed the baggage image and border guards and customs inspectors discovered 700 passengers with 2 packs of cigarettes, packed in their checked baggage.

Both men were passengers of the Chisinau-London flight.

If the attempt succeded they would have had a profit of 4,000 euro.

For the committed offense, a report which provides cigarettes confiscation and a fine of 3,000 lei was registered.
