547 Moldovan people have died of COVID-19, according to the Health Ministry. 

The two latest cases are men aged 62 and 90, who died on the hospital bed at the Institute of Emergency Medicine in the Capital.

Both victims also suffered from other chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure, diabetes and mixed cardiomyopathy.

At the same time, 438 patients with COVID-19 are in serious condition, 1140 - medium severity, the other patients in satisfactory condition.

Another 212 people were treated and discharged. Totally 9594 patients have been discharged. 

The total number of confirmed cases reaches 16613.

Until July 1, 2416 cases of infection were confirmed among the medical workers: 610 doctors, 28 pharmacists, 967 nurses, 125 ferns and 686 auxiliary employees.
