An SMURD helicopter today transported a two-year-old girl from Briceni to the Chisinau hospital. The child suffered the burns of 2nd and 3rd degree on 50% of the body surface, after falling into a pot filled with hot liquid yesterday.

The doctors decided to bring her to Emilian Coţaga Hospital in Chisinau in order to rescue her.

The child has been conscious and under treatment applied by hospital doctors.

The SMURD Iasi team succeeded in less than 40 minutes to land at Dinamo Stadium in Chisinau.

The Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service of the MIA announces this has been the 30th case of participation of the SMURD crew since the service launch in Moldova.
