Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Mark Șevcenko as Ukrainian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova.
According to the Ukrainian press, the appointment decree was signed on Wednesday, December 17th.
Șevcenko previously worked in Moldova, as a political advisor to the Ukrainian Embassy in Chisinau (2003-2007).
The position of Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova has remained vacant since April 2019, when Ivan Gnatîşin was dismissed.
