Rescuers were called to Căuşeni, to save an injured swan that got stuck on a lake between Cârnățeni and Plop-Știubei settlements, Căușeni district.

Common emergency number 112 received the call yesterday. Therefore, rescuers stepped in and saved the bird. The rescue mission was easy, as the swan had a broken wing caught in a bush from the lake.

The swan was then taken by rescuers to the Zoo from Chisinau.

According to General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, since the beginning of 2018, rescuers responded to 39 calls concerning animals.
