Iacob Capcelea has resigned as director of Urban Bus Park, announces Interim Mayor Silvia Radu in the weekly meeting of City Hall services. 

"The director will leave office on March 1st. He wrote the resignation as our request and this resignation is to be accepted", announced Silvia Radu, Acting Mayor of Chisinau. 

PUBLIKA reminds that the Interim Mayor of Chisinau requested the resignation of the Head of Urban Bus Park, Iacob Capcelea, after the scandalous images on the line no. 46 Chisinau-Ghidighici appeared on the internet.

The vehicle was running with the damaged floor.

Although Capcelea admitted the existence of old buses, he did not consider the request to resign.

There are 124 vehicles in the Urban Park which are operational. The last renewal took place in 2006, when 20 new MAN buses were purchased.

Annually, 15 million lei is spent on the purchase of spare parts and materials.
