Deputy of the governor of Gagauzia, Vadim Ceban was appointed president of the Board of Directors of Moldovagaz.

Until his appointment, from 2005 to 2019, Vadim Ceban held several management positions in state structures, as well as in private companies:

- 2005-2006 - Deputy Director of the General Directorate for Structural Policies, Investment Stimulation and Public Patrimony Administration within the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Moldova;

- 2006-2009 - Director of the General Directorate for Structural Policies and Investments within the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Moldova;

- 2009-2010 - General Director of the National Agency for Energy Regulation of the Republic of Moldova;

- 2010-2013 - Head of the General Directorate for Energy Security and Energy Efficiency within the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova;

- 2014-2015 - General Manager of the "Micăuţi Career" Company;

- 2015-2019 - First Vice-President of the Executive Committee of UTA Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova.
