The President of the European People's Parliamentary Group in Moldova, Valeriu Ghileţchi, was elected Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from Moldova's part. The decision was adopted today, June 26th, at the PACE summer session, writes deschide.md.

"It's an honor for me to be elected by the PACE as Vice-President of Moldova's part" , wrote Valeriu Ghileticu on his Facebook page. 

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is one of the two Council of Europe statutory bodies. The Parliamentary Assembly elects the judges of the European Court of Human Rights. Currently PACE has 18 vice-presidents.
