The initiative belongs to a group of deputies and was endorsed, in final reading, by 55 MPs from those present.
The amendments introduce the mechanism for the application of road usage tax for non-registered road transports in the Republic of Moldova (minibuses, buses, trucks and trailers), replacing the current system.

Changes also come for the road transport schedule, introduction of new route, extension of route, increase of number of routes, introduction of stations or change of timetable.
It is stipulated the entry / exit of foreign road transport operators on the territory of the country as a transit or destination country only on the basis of unitary bilateral or multilateral road transport of goods or persons in accordance with the obligations of the international treaties to which the Republic of Moldova is a party.
