A Venice carnival was organized yesterday in a capital hotel. People gathered to help children in need. 

The atmosphere was boosted with music and Italian food. 

"The event was organized in Venice Carnival style. The guests dressed up according to the organizers' requests and wore masks", declared Italian Ambassador to Moldova, Valeria Biagiotti.

The event was organized by the Save the Life Foundation in order to help five babies who were seriously ill.

The entrance ticket cost 100 EUR.

This is the second charity event organized by the Save the Life Foundation.

The first took place in early December last year, when over half a million lei was collected.
