Victor Ciobanu fighter and his trainer awarded by Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc
Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc continues to support our sportsmen.
Recently, the foundation awarded Victor Ciobanu, Greco-Roman wrestling fighter and his trainer, Mihai Cucu.
This week, the fighter became a champion at 60 kilos category. At the final fights, Ciobanu has won Serghei Emelin.
Thus, the foundation and its team congratulated the champion at the place where he trains every day.
Victor Ciobanu was surprised and says he will use this money to improve his skills.
"The European championship is coming soon. It will take place in Minsk. I will invest this money in myself."
Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc decided to award the sportsman's trainer. Thus, Mihai Cucu received 25 thousand lei.
Previously, two champions of the Olympic games that took place in Buenos Aires have been awarded by Edelweiss foundation. Tatiana Salcutan and Alexandrin Gutu received a voucher worth 50 thousand lei.
"Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc supports the young champions. We also supported Victor Ciobanu. We encourage him and hope he will continue to bring success to our country", declared Lidia Cucos, deputy director of Edelweiss foundation.
22 Moldova fighters attended European championship from Bucharest.
Besides Victor Ciobanu, Piotr Ianulov and ANastasia Nichita also received medals.
