Victoria Iftodi is the new Justice minister. After she sworn, Pavel Filip introduced her to the other ministries.
"I intend to continue the Government's efforts in implementing the strategies announced previously by the Prime Minister within the Justice reform. A part of the projects were already elaborated and will be open to debate for the civil society. We will make everything possible to provide democracy", declared Victoria Iftodi.
Pavel Filip mentioned that the Justice reforms is a priority of the Government. It is one of the three reforms declared important at the beginning of this year.
"This is one of the most important reforms for Moldova, because a fair justice attracts foreign investors", mentioned Pavel Filip.
Victoria Iftodi was the Justice minister between 2004 and 2006. She started her carrer as a notary and between 1994 and 1996 she worked within Notary direction of Justice Ministry.
Starting 2003, she was in office of deputy minister and then Justice minister. In December 2016, she was named the Government representative within the Integrity Council of the National Integrity Authorities. Between 2017-2018, she was attorney at the Constitutional Court.
