A US citizen has been detained, accused of recruiting young women on the internet.

Prosecutor together with the Center for Combating Human Trafficking, are documenting a criminal accusation of a man accused of pimping.

The 45-year-old man has been documented for half a year when he was living in Moldova with his 25-year-old girlfriend. They, for two years, have been recruiting young women by placing ads the website www.999.md.

So far, 45 girls aged between 18 and 35 years have been identified from Moldova.

Following the raids, the leader of the business of sex shows was caught red-handed in one of the studios.

The clients were transferring the money on the leader's account opened in US, and thus, to legalize the origin of the money, they were extracted from various ATMs and Moldovan banks. 

The man in custody for 30 days.

If found guilty of misconduct, the defendant risks up to 7 years in prison
