Vlad Filat prime minister was extorted to Buiucani Court today. The magistrates will examine the money laundering criminal file of the former prime minister. The session will be a public one. The first session was postponed after one of the three judges held back.

Vlad Filat is imprisoned in No.13 penitentiary from the Capital, within a bribery criminal file. He is blamed of transferring 13 million lei from BEM.

The American authorities confirmed that the transfers have been done to the company that promoted the liberal democrats. Moreover, the investigation has evidence of Vlad Filat taking this money after influence peddling actions.

If found guilty, the former prime minister risks up to ten years behind bars.
