Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of DPM held a meeting with Claus Neukirch, the new director of OSCE in Moldova.
Vlad Plahotniuc made a short analyze of the situation we have now in Moldova, he pointed out the achievements of the Government over the past three years both in economy and society fields and talked about the ongoing projects. What about the situation in the East of the Republic of Moldova, the DPM chairman mentioned the desire of our country to solve this conflict in a peaceful way and make everything possible to withdraw the Russian troops. Vlad Plahotniuc said that the protocols that have been signed between Chisinau and Tirapol one year ago brought good results. The DPM leader also referred to the fact that our country now controls the state border including on the Transnistrian segment, which strengthens the national security.
Claus Neukirch, the OSCE director in Moldova appreciated the efforts of the Government to provide better conditions for Moldovans on both banks of Nistru.
Also, Claus Neukirch thanked Vlad Plahotniuc for trying to solve the transnistrean conflict and for the political willingness to heal the condition of Moldova.
PDM President thanked the European official for the appreciations and wished him good luck in his activity. He assured him that the Government will continue to work on solving the most harsh issues of Moldova, including the transnistrean conflict. Claus Neukirch's mission in Chisinau started in September. He is from Germany and has a 20 years experience within OSCE. Previously, he was the deputy director of OSCE in Moldova.
