Vlad Plahotniuc extended "A new life" campaign. 24 maternity wards from country will benefit of the campaign
Edelweiss team will wish "Welcome" to the babies from 24 maternity wards from the whole country. Vlad Plahotniuc announced that the "A new life" campaign will be extended in other 20 maternities. After Vlad Plahotniuc paid a visit to the district hospital of Hancesti and congratulated Pruteanu family who have their second child. The family received a box with all the necessary things for a new born.
The eldest boy of the family also received presents. Even if he is only five year old, he feels responsible about his brother.
The family was surprised that they are one of the first beneficiaries of "A new life" campaign.
"We didn't expect this. It is a big joy for us and our family. The foundation gave us things that are necessary. It was an honor to met Vlad Plahotniuc", mentioned Ecaterina Pruteanu.
Vlad Plahotniuc declared that he decided to extend the "A new life" campaign at a national level, because of the success the company registered and the thousand requests they received.
"Here we have a happy family. Through our gesture, we want to make them happier. In this way, we want to tell the new born welcome", said Vlad Plahotniuc, the founder of Edelweiss foundation.
Vlad Plahotniuc appreciated the dedication and the professionalism of the doctors from the Hancesti district hospital.
"I want to congratulate the doctors and nurses from this institution and thank them for their care, dedication and for everything they do for these families", said Vlad Plahotniuc.
At their turn, the doctors thanked Vlad Plahotniuc for appreciation and for extending this campaign in Hancesti maternity.
"I want to say that we are very happy that Edelweiss foundation arrived in Hancesti. I want to thank you from the name of all the mothers who will benefit of this project. Also, I want to thank Mr.President for everything he does for our country and especially for Hancesti district", said Petru Ciubotaru, director of Hancesti district hospital.
Edelweiss foundation released "A new life" campaign in 2016 at the Institute of Mother and the Child from Chisinau. In a little while, it was extended to other three maternity wards.
"Starting today, we are present in 24 maternity wards. We are glad to support the mothers. The birth of a new child is a very important event for a family, but there are such situations when the mothers need the support of the ones who surround them. This is why we want to support them and offer them a box with everything necessary for a new born child", said Lidia Cucuos, the deputy director of the Edelweiss foundation.
Till the present moment, "A new life" campaign of Vlad Plahotniuc's foudation, Edelweiss distributed over 12 thousand boxes for the new born.
