Vlad Plahotniuc on First House project: I requested government additional facilities for the young and specialists
Vlad Plahotniuc talked about the project "Prima Casa" (First House), but also about the facilities this project offers Moldovan young people at today PDM meeting.
"The Government presented the final framework of the First House project, which will be approved in Government meeting. We have given political support to this project for young people to stay at home and not go abroad.
"Some concrete solutions have been proposed to stimulate young people in certain social categories, employees of the budgetary system, to purchase these houses benefiting from certain facilities.
"We asked to see if we can find solutions for the state to compensate young people half of the interest paid for the loan.
"The Government will approve the general framework of the project, as soon as the solutions are identified.
"Supplements will be made to bring benefits to people, especially for young specialists, "said PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the Government has adopted the "First House" program, whereby the state guarantees mortgages and pays a part of the expenses for the real estate loan.
According to the concept developed by the Ministry of Finance, all Moldovans up to 45 years of age who have an official job are eligible to buy.
Beneficiaries do not need to have another real estate or mortgage credit, and the monthly wage must be twice as high as the interest and principal amount of the real estate loan.
