Victims of the Second World War were commemorated today in front of the Nativity Cathedral. A feast was organized there, where people could eat porridge. Among the event's guests also counted leader of PDM Vlad Plahotniuc, who sat at a table with veterans.
Vlad Plahotniuc was surrounded by people in the Capital's heart, having taken pictures with many children.
"I have met this morning, in the Capital's hear, people who lived through the horrors of the Second World War. Those were difficult times, that I hope will never repeat again, neither to us, nor to our children. With this aim in mind, we must join hands and work every day to build a better world. Let us start by honoring those who fought and made it possible to make Europe free, strong and democratic. Let us continue celebrating together, both Victory Day and Europe Day, as a symbol of friendship and peace among nations" Vlad Plahotniuc declared.
