The celebration of the Romanian language is celebrated today all over the country. Several officials, including the President of the Democratic Party of Moldova, Vlad Plahotniuc, congratulated the citizens of Moldova on this occasion.

"Often, we forget what great success we have been to regain the right to speak and write in the language of our ancestors.
Today, the Romanian language has its national feast, but it is our duty to honor it every day through correct speech, by educating the respect for it, so that our children take from us a cultivated language.
My wish is that the following generations speak excellent Romanian, better than our parents, to realize what "no father proved", says our great poet Grigore Vieru", Vlad Plahotniuc wrote.
