Volunteer firefighters from Calarasi received equipment gifts from Germany
Volunteer firefighters from Calarasi district have received from colleagues in Germany a truck with extrication equipment, intervention costumes.
The action occurred due to a partnership between Civil Protection and Exceptional Situations of the MIA and a group of volunteers firefighters from the city of Buhl, Germany. The germans have shared their experience over many years in cases of road accidents and fires with their Moldovan colleagues.
Exercises were organized to test the skills of volunteers in both countries. The crew's mission was to rescue an imprisoned person injured by a motor vehicle.
Despite the fact that the crew was composed of volunteers from two different countries, the intervention was successful.
