Was President Igor Dodon involved in the extradition of seven Turkish citizens last September?
Parliament’s National Security Commission chairman Chiril Moţpan has presented his opinions about the extradition of seven Turkish citizens last September. According to chairman, President Igor Dodon was not involved in this process as Andrei Nastase and Maia Sandu declared.

Chiril Moţpan: President Igor Dodon doesn't show up at all in presented reports, neither in declarations made in these hearings. None of politician name appeared.
Those heard included the former director of the Security and Intelligence Service, Vasile Botnari, director of the Migration and Asylum Bureau Olga Poalelungi, former deputy directors Alexandru Balan and Alexandru Baltaga.
According to the press, four of the seven Turkish teachers expelled last year on Ankara's request have already been convicted. Recently, one received seven and a half years in prison on terrorism charges.
On June 11, 2019, the ECHR ruled that by deporting the seven Turckish citizens the Republic of Moldova violated their rights.
