More than 800 drivers have exceeded the speed limit this weekend no matter how terrible the weather was. 

The National Patrol Inspectorate increased their activity in the past days to prevent road rules and accidents by informing drivers about the risks of violating traffic rules.

For three days, patrol officers documented over 2,500 offending offenses.

Moreover, over 800 drivers exceeded the speed limit and 22 drivers were without driving licenses. 

INP intervened in about 300 requests from citizens.

Due to bad weather conditions and violations of road rules, 13 road accidents killing one and injuring 19 were registered.
