Plenary sessions of the Venice Commission is held today and tomorrow.
There are 3 topics related to our country on the experts' agenda: they will discuss amendments to the electoral law, amendments to the appointment of judges and freedom of association.
Moldovan representatives are included the PDM deputy, Igor Vremea, who is a member of the parliamentary appointments and immunities committee.
According to the agenda, as far as electoral legislation is concerned, the experts will adopt a joint opinion with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
The Commission also has a meeting scheduled within the Ministerial Committee, which will also be attended by the Permanent Representative of Moldova to the Council of Europe, Corina Călugăru.
