What will be after elections for parliament and referendum?
Minutes of the results of parliamentary elections and referendum are due to arrive at the constituency electoral councils at the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) by February 26. Specifically, within 48 hours of closing polling stations.
By March 3, the CEC must approve the minutes on the results of elections and prepare the election report to send to the Constitutional Court.
By March 9, High Court magistrates will have to confirm or deny the legality of the elections and validate the mandates of the new MEPs, unless there are appeals in the courts. Validation of the mandates of the elected people will not take place until the courts have finally settled the appeals.
Constitutional Court must decide the results for the referendum by March 14.
