Vadul lui Vodă is the most greeny locality in Moldova, according to National Office of Statistics. Totally there are around 8,000 acres of green spaces, accounting for 8.7% total surface of cities. On average, a resident is covered by 52 m².

In Vadul lui Vodă, 1,000 m² green spaces cover a person. In Tvardiţa, 326 m², Frunza - 184 m², Călăraşi - 133 m². Străşeni - 100 m². 

On the opposite side of the ranking, in Otaci, not even 1 m² or Cahul - under 5 m².
