On a Facebook post, Finance Minister Natalia Gavriliţa admits issuing a moratorium on budget-paid employees awards.
"Moratorium on budget-paid employees was imposed by the former governance until July 1, we prolonged it until December 31, 2019 due to budgetary hole of 4.4 billion lei and the salary law costs us over 1 billion lei more than expected", wrote Gavriliţa.
However, according to the former Finance minister Ion Chicu, the actual budget has enough money for salaries and pensions which was confirmed by former PM Pavel Filip.
