Wine Vernissage reached 14th edition. 51 winemakers presented their best beverages
The spring edition of the Vernisajul Vinului (Wine Vernissage) was marked by liquor and music from the 80s. 51 companies have presented their beverages, some having came up with new ideas.
"We are launching a new wine collection called Premium: two red wines, two baricated wines, wines ripened in French oak barrels, and a special white wine that is a blend of a European variety Chardonnay, and a native variety, Feteasca" a winery representative, Rodica Căruntu explained.
"I present you Rosé, a Cabernet wine. It taste extraordinary" a winery representative, Alexei Mocanu said.
Winemakers claim that this event helps promote their production.
"Many Moldovans working abroad buy our products, they know us for along time and seek our wines" winemaker, Mihail Sava mentioned.

The event also gathered representatives of foreign embassies in Moldova, who remained pleasantly surprised by the Moldovan liquor. They believe that export might grow in the following years.
"This November China will organize the first world import edition. Over 15 000 customers will gather from all over the world. Moldovans will also participate" Chinese Embassy advisor to Moldova, Geng Fei declared.
