WORRYING INFORMATION: Why more children are escaping from orphanages and their explained reasons
More children are escaping from orphanages. Police informs that 224 cases were recorded in the first three months of 2019, 13% increase compared with the same period last year.
Most of them are 14-15 years old, while 42 minors age less than 13. The other are 16-17 years old.
The statistics show that 123 children among them come from villages while the rest are from cities. Moreover, 115 children ran away for the first time and the other have done it multiple times.
According to the specialists, they invoke different escaping reasons. Some of them don't want to be supervised by adults, others are complaining about parental neglecting, but there are some of them that could not cope with the family's tense relationships.
Most of them are from socially vulnerable families. Police informs that most of them are found in less than 24 hours.
