Yellow warning for snow is issued today in Moldova. So far, no highways or roads were reported snowed in. Patrol teams with necessary equipment were dispatched to ensure traffic safety and assist citizens.
Rescuers urge drivers to make sure their cars have snow tires, while a shovel and sand to be kept in the trunk.
At the same time, INP recommends drivers to be more cautious, use proper speed, not to attempt passing another car and maintain bigger distance between vehicles.
