Heavy snow is falling at the moment in the South of Moldova. While there are no blocked roads, traffic is moving slowly.
Today will be met with cloudy sky. In the South is forecast heavy snow. In Briceni and Soroca thermometers will indicate -5 °C, while in Bălți and Orhei -4 °C. In Tiraspol people can expect to -2 °C, while in Leova and Comrat -1 °C. In Cahul are forecast 0 °C.
National Patrol Inspectorate also urges drivers to take into consideration the weather conditions and use the headlight, due to reduced visibility caused by snowfall.
People are also requested to make sure that their cars are properly equipped for winter, having a bag of sand, shovel, blanket and thermos with warm beverage.
