Zotea is revolting, after four ambassadors named by liberal party were dismissed
The Liberal Party wants to keep in function the ambassadors who were named in function by them, previously. The party announces its displeasure according to the Government's decision of recalling other diplomats. They ask the Prime Minister, Pavel Filip to revoke from function Andrei Galbur, the Minister of External Affairs.
''The ambassadors were revoked before the term, which is a terrible encroachment according to the diplomatic service. It is terrible to tread the ambassadors this way, even if they were supported by a certain political party'', said Alina Zotea, deputy of the Liberal Party.
Yesterday, the Ministry of External Affairs recalled four ambassadors: Emilian Brenici, the ambassador in the Netherlands, Aureliu Ciocoi, ambassador in the United States of America, Valeriu Frija, ambassador in Lithuania and Iurie Renita, ambassador in Belgium.
According to Andrei Galbur, the Minister of Resort, Andrei Ciocoi requested his dismissal, while Emilian Brenici's mandate expired.
The other two, Iurie Renita and Valeriu Frija were dismissed on political criteria.
