Ialoveni resident sentenced to 16 years of jail for double murder

An Ialoveni resident was sentenced to 16 years in prison for a double murder committed with a special cruelty.
In September 2016, visiting a couple and being drunk, the defendant, started a quarrel with the house owner, then he and the victim's concubine hit the victim with a piece of wood until he died.
To hide the traces of the crime, the two went to the edge of the village to find a place to hide the victim's body.
For fear of being denounced at the police for the murder, the defendant also applied multiple strokes to the woman with the same piece of wood until the victim was out of breath.
The defendant was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment in a closed prison.
The sentence has the right to appeal.
