12 tuberculosis cases were registered in Chisinau last week, announced Tatiana Bucearschi, the head of the General Department for social assistance and health of the Chisinau Municipal Council.

According to her, two new cases of influenza AH1N1 were registered in the municipality during the period September-November. 

To date, 24000 doses of influenza vaccine have been distributed and immunized over 10300 people in the risk group.

Bucearschi also mentioned that there were 2464 cases of acute upper respiratory tract infections last week, or 17.8 percent less than the same period last year.
