NAMM signed a memorandum with NAMMD
National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Moldova (NAMM) signed a memorandum with National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania (NAMMD). The document foresees NAMMD offering support in ensuring quality, efficiency and safety of prescription drugs, aimed to make National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices follow the European legislation.
The memorandum was signed at the end of last week in Bucharest, by director general of National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Moldova, Vladislav Zara and president of National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania, Alexandru Velicu.
According to the document, a network will be established for the exchange of scientific and technical information, as stated in the European and National Legislation.
Publika reminds that at the beginning of March 2018, a similar agreement was signed by National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices and Bulgarian Drug Agency, for cooperation in similar areas, especially at the chapter of authorizing prescription drugs and medical devices, as well as good clinical practices, good laboratory practices, and good manufacturing practices inspections. It will also allow for drugs from Bulgaria to be sold on the pharmacy market from Moldova.
In 2017, National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices signed memorandums with similar organizations from Belarus, Poland and Lithuania.
